Bathroom Twenty-Five

Above, you get a really great shot of how different the shower looks with the original white tiles, versus with the new neutral surround and glass tile border.  To the far left you can see a close-up of the way we used the decorative tiles to highlight the cubby.  Immediately to the left, you see the oil-rubbed bronze head-rail for the seamless shower door.

Here you can see the floor and the shower in this bathroom.  We removed the small white tiles and set larger, neutral tiles on a straight lay.  We also brought the beautiful glass decorative tiles from the backsplash onto the new bench, as well as onto the surround, which you see further below.

We removed the tub to make the shower a bit bigger.  The curb, bench, and decorative tiles were set on a straight lay to contrast with the diagonal lay on the walls, ceiling, and floor.

The original lighting in the bathroom was the strip lighting with the round bulbs, shown to the far left.  We replaced this with an updated fixture, also in the oil-rubbed bronze finish.
