When we raised the ceiling, we also cut a hole in the side of the shower to give the client more air circulation in the shower.  It also allows in more light, though the addition of the recessed can light in the shower also aided greatly in letting in more light.

We removed the pink cultured marble shower surround, raised the ceiling roughly twelve inches, and installed a tiled surround featuring a beautiful mosaic border.

The framed, obscured glass door was replaced with a frameless, clear glass door.

The original shower fixtures were brass, and we replaced them with updated fixtures in oil-rubbed bronze.
