We remodeled this bar area at the same time that we remodeled the master bathroom. We removed the existing laminate countertop and backsplash, including the molding that sat on top of the backsplash, and the overmount sink and existing faucet, and installed granite with a high backsplash and a new undermount sink and faucet.

Before we changed out the countertop, the area blended together and didn’t offer much for the eye to really see. With the addition of the granite, the bar area is more dynamic and really draws the eye to it.
