Originally, this bathroom had a fairly small tub/shower with the small 5x5 ceramic tile seen above to the left.  We removed the tub and moved the toilet over so that we could extend the walk-in shower out to be nearly five feet deep.  Our clients chose new, updated fixtures, with both a shower head and a hand-held sprayer.

We installed a glass block wall for the inside wall of the new shower.  It separates the shower from the toilet area.  Below is a photo showing the new can lights in the shower area.  Also note the smaller tiles on a diagonal, which mirrors the tile on the shower floor.

We added two decorative bands in the shower.  The lower one is sitting on top of the tile wainscoting that we installed in the rest of the water closet.  The upper band appears only in the shower.  The deco band brings a little color into the room, with many different shades evident in the tiles for the clients to pull from for their accents.
