Above, you see the desk just off the kitchen. We replaced the wooden top to the desk with the same granite that we installed in the kitchen. The mosaic tiles were installed at random amidst the 4x4 Travertine tiles.
Below, you can see the work done at the countertop and backsplash in the butler’s pantry. |

In the butler’s pantry, which is separated from the rest of the kitchen, we used extra granite on the backsplash.
On the left, you can see the close-up of the tile. Travertine can have a lot of natural dips and grooves, which get filled in with grout to make a smooth surface in the end while retaining the beautiful look of the tile. |
