Below you can see the updated lighting.  The sheetrock where the old light box was is visible in the distance, with the new can lights spreading light throughout the room.

Here are more pictures of this kitchen.  You can see the hand-painted ceramic tiles and the new granite backsplash.  Below, you can see that they did have their undercabinet lights plugged in.  To the right, the lights are now hardwired and there are switches for them.

To the right is the clients’ new undermount sink set in their granite.  Below you see a close-up of the new granite on the island.  By extending the sides with a slight curve, we were able to give them a much larger countertop.
