If you look closely at the before pictures above and below and compare the refrigerator area with the after pictures, you can see we also added a new cabinet on the right side of that wall.  It is a seamless addition and blends in completely.  The client kept the same ovens, but we also reworked the cabinetry around the microwave to blend it better with that wall.

We made many changes in this kitchen.  We removed the plaid wallpaper and replaced it with paint in a brighter color; the cabinets were painted a lighter color; there are new granite countertops and a new Travertine backsplash; we re-sanded and re-stained the floor; and there are many new lighting fixtures, including under-cabinet lighting, rope lighting above the cabinets, and a new light fixture over the island.   There is a new sink and faucets and a new cooktop.  Note the special curve of the granite on the island.  Click here to see a better picture.
