In the before and after pictures above you can see that we removed the false ceiling, making the space feel much larger.  The florescent lighting was exchanged for can lights and the cabinets were painted white.  The vinyl flooring was replaced with tile and we installed a Travertine backsplash.

In the three after pictures, you can see that we added a stainless steel dishwasher and replaced the existing sink with a new stainless steel, two-well sink.  Scroll down to see a more detailed picture.  To the left is a picture of the new electric range and a new vent hood.  The Travertine backsplash was carried around to this side of the kitchen, as well.  The new countertops are level one granite instead of laminate.  Finally, there are new wooden blinds in the window in place of the old window treatment.
