As previously mentioned, this home originally had a lot of picture-frame molding. To the left you see the before shot where the molding has come off, but you can see how it had been painted. To the right, you see the difference it makes to have it neutralized out. |

In the stairwell leading downstairs we removed more picture-frame molding and also covered over the niche that you can see in the before picture. The original railing was painted the darker color to match the other stairway hand rails and re-installed. |

The fireplace looks drastically different with the different depths of paint applied to both the mantle and the wall behind it. |

Painting the walls and ceilings in this richer color also helps highlight the crown molding that had already been existing in the home. |
