The living room and dining room in this house made the fourth project that we have done for this client. Our client purchased this tile when we remodeled the kitchen so that the dye-lot would match. Then we remodeled the master bath and the guest bath, finally returned to complete this tile work two years later. We also scraped the ceilings in the two rooms and sprayed new texture, then painted the walls and ceilings to match the new color scheme in the rest of the house. |

Another aspect of this phase of the remodeling project was installing and staining crown molding in the dining room to match what we had previously installed in the kitchen and casing out and staining the dining room windows.
To the left is the step leading into the entrance, which we tiled when we remodeled the kitchen. Below is the step leading to the dining room, which we tiled in this phase of the project. Because of careful planning of the projects, tile, and tile layout, the tile coming from the entrance and coming from the kitchen matches up perfectly with the newly lain floors. |
